A master. I discovered this in the '70s through what must have been Mad reprints. Still blows me away.

I think I grew up with a black & white reprint in a (ugh!) digest sized book of this too. Great to see it full sized and color.

You're right, Zachary...sounds cliched, but Wood is indeed a master!

This comic influenced my writing and cartooning from the first I saw it in the reprinted versions of the classic MADs in the '70s. Wally Wood was a god; his lines, shading, panel composition - incredible - and plus he was just freaking hilarious.
