Nemo #26 brought us an extensive overview of the work of early cartoonist T.S. Sullivant. They had done a quick nod to his work in issue #10, but here they give 30 pages...1/2 the magazine to his pen and ink talent.
I love his scratchy pen work and his characters faces seem to have a full-born personality that we never really hear in the text. T.S. may have also been the cartoonist to teach us that cartoons' heads need to be a little big on the body to really be appealing and funny.
Enjoy!
