The Face and Head!

That title is either the worst name for an English pub ever thunk up, or the title of the first chapter in Jack Hamm's "Cartooning the Head and Figure".

From "4 easy steps to a cartoon face" to some very impressive galleries of cartoon noses, eyes, mouths and 'I-don't-know-what-all', this opener really shows the fun and versatility of cartooning.

Such variety from so few lines.  Marvelous.  Cartoons really IS cool.

There's more-a-comin'.  Lots more!

Talk to you soon.

I bought this book years ago, and while I've read dozens of books on how to cartoon, I've hardly seen any with the variety and richness of Jack Hamm's book. A must have for aspiring cartoonists.

It is surprising, the variety of styles that Hamm puts forth. Thanks for reading, Pappy!
