The Mad cartoonists got a little break in the third feature of "Mad" (THE COMIC BOOK) #13 from July 1954, as Harvey Kurtzman takes on a humor convention of the day and slaps funny captions across non-related photos.
Take note Jay Leno. Your shtick has been done before, and more importantly it was funny when others did it.
