The Outbursts of Everett True - Nemo #26 part 4 of 4

Everett True - a hero for the ages. He fights for those who cannot fight themselves and puts the selfish and annoying in their place!

A.D. Condo's forgotten classic ran in papers for 20 years and I think it's obvious as to why. Everett True spoke for us all, pointing out the pests in every day life, but rather than suffering the fools in silence like our moms taught us to do...he puts them in their places.

A very enjoyable strip...dig in!

This issue had a nice wraparound cover by T.S. Sullivant...here's the backside.

...and just look at the passel of good stuff coming up in #27...oops...unfortunately, I can't seem to locate my issues of 27 OR 29! Starting tomorrow I'll begin posting #28 and keep hoping they turn up.

Talk to you soon.

I remember Everett True from his revival in CBG by Tony Isabella and several "American Splendor" artists. In fact, a friend of mine dressed as Everett for the costume contest at the Atlanta Fantasy Fair in '86 holding a sign that read 'Hey Jim (Shooter)- Give Jack (Kirby) His Artwork Back!"
Good to see the originals by Condo. If I recall, Condo was assisted by a J.D. Raper (or Rapper).
And despite the article claiming that the Everett True films were all lost, Blackhawk Films sold prints of one of them back in the '70s.
