The talented and lovely and vivacious and sweet-sounding Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci, alternately known as "Garfunkel & Oates" come through again!

A new video for their song "Weed Card" is the newest single off their newest album "All Over Your Face". If you like what you hear, you can pick it up on iTunes and CDBaby.

I hope you do, because I want them to make sooooooooo much money that Ms. Micucci starts making all kinds of bad-judgement calls...like marrying me!

Sticking with my impromptu/accidental music week, I should also mention that "Garfunkel & Oates" released a new album on Tuesday as well. "All Over Your Face"!


I love these girls/women of comedy and song, and I've talked about them before on here. Riki "Garfunkel" Lindhome and Kate "Oates" Micucci (one day I hope to rename "Mrs. Kate 'Oates' Micucci-Overturf"...but then I'm delusional) have been strumming, plucking, fingering and tickling guitar, ukulele, keyboard and heartstrings for a while now, and I for one am always wanting more.

This "Music Monday" I'm forgoing my usual warbling and share with you a great new video by Garfunkel and Oates. A short musical (about 14 minutes) that's' as funny as it is quirky with songs that cling to the meneges wrapping your brain.

Billed here appropriately under their true names of Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci, I first became aware of them as Garfunkel and Oates, funny, ingeneous, and let's face it boys...funny girls are HOT!

Here's another endorsement for a couple of talented folks out there getting their stuff out to the world independently through iTunes and YouTube and whatever else they can. A couple of creative people who have no other choice than to "just do it".

Riki "Garfunkel" Lindhome and Kate "Oates" Micucci a couple of talented singer/songwriter/actor/writer/comedians have a bunch of great songs I think you should check out.

I don't know much else about them, I just heard them for the first time the other day on Doug Benson's "I Love Movies" podcast, and I fell in love. sigh.
