Santa Claus Gets a Workout

It's less than week until Christmas will be here...so continuing my Christmas comic book countdown...

Here's Action Comics #105 from Christmas 1946 and a story called "The Man Who Hated Christmas...


In this one, a lowdown and mean character named Jasper Casper copters off to the North Pole to sabotage the holiday by giving Santa some chemically treated candy which makes him twice his normal girth. Superman gets there just in time to help the old boy work off the extra poundage.

Good ol' Supes saved Christmas again!
