Yes indeedy, Jeffy's not only been scarce here in cyber-blog-land, but also around home and it seems even down at "Ye Olde Drink Hole" there's a sense of lacking his presence...
Loose ends he's left are feeling sorely fatigued and lost since he last visited. Take for example the heroes of "All American Comics" still back in Champagne Room waiting for Jeffy to end his hiatus from his "A Brief History of the Golden Age of Comic Book Super Heroes"...
This is MORE than just beating a dead horse (though we all know how much fun THAT can be)...Jeffy has really "checked out".
But why? and to where?

See? That comment (iterating what is in the pic) is 10 times funnier as a non sequitor than the drawing itself. Never in the history of written language have those words ever been said in that particular order.
And that's why we like to blog.
I live for those moments of unique word order, or as Abraham Lincoln once did not say, if the lettuce is in the oil filter, then the ostriches will bray, or wolves to that effect.
