Perfect timing ! Been gobbling up the New Popeye comics printed by IDW and now this ! Thanx fer post'n.
I loved that cover that parodied the Johnson Smith Co. ads that were always in comics well into the 80s. I ran across a late '30s Johnson Smith catalog - they actually sold beer and cigarettes then!
