Gumby and Pokey...back to the little balls of clay from whence they came!

A sad note reached me this morning. Art Clokey, creator of everybodies favorite "little green ball of clay" passed away yesterday.


One of the most knowledgable folks around of all things geeky, one of my heroes, Jerry Beck posted this nice obit on his blog "Cartoon Brew", check it out and remember Mr. Clokey, pioneer of claymation.

    it was those damn blockheads, I'm sure of it!

    That being said, I am quite saddened to see that with the passing of each year a little more of what we enjoyed so much as children and made us the adults we are slips away
