Jeffy, his nephew Scott and Frank slowly soothe Bigfoot's jangled nerves...
Sigh! I'll finally get the habit of meeting deadlines down, but it'll be a week after I'm dead.
See you tomorrow for "OTR Friday", followed by "Unca Jeffy's Toy Box Saturday", "Sunday Funnies", "Mad Monday" and we'll get back to more of whatever this nonsense is I do with my cartoons on Tuesday.
Talk to you soon.
Liz Taylor.. her body arrived 15 minutes after the service started by her request, thus she was late to her own funeral.
ReplyDeleteSo I'd say you are in pretty good company with this nonsesne!
sure it's easy to make fun of the fact that Bigfoot and his friends go "gaga" over Titanic every winter, when YOU weren't the one they drug out to go see Mamma Mia with them, because they were feeling too emotional to drive and buy their own wine spritzers...
ReplyDeleteMarco: It was my fault. I had a standing date for one last cocktail with Liz and we got to talking about "Daddy's Little Dividend" and I held her up for the funeral. My bad.
ReplyDeleteFrank: I still remember the headlines about the Arc-Lite theatre in Portland, OR. having to close for a week after the "Mama Mia" premiere, to clean the carpet of wine-spritzer spills and Bigfoot tear-stains.
Gosh ! This strip explains why I am like a Female Sasquatch from Oct~Jan ALL THE TIME !
ReplyDeleteThanx for adding "Horking" to my sagging personal lexicon ;~j
Ha ha! ...Hey, is eating copious amounts of ice cream considered a feminine thing? gulp! Nothing!
ReplyDeleteLys: Glad to help with the vocabulary. Horking is a word that needs to be saved from passing away.
ReplyDeleteKW: Ummmmmm...if it is, I am in as much danger as anyone. I suppose we should just embrace our feminine said and be done with it.
Jeffie: Damn, your stuff makes me laugh. Who would have imagined the word "lugees" could look so funny in print. Also that last little bit, "allowing yourself to hear" and "snigger snort" really cracked me up. I swear I'd buy a collection of this stuff.
ReplyDeleteHigh praise indeed, Mykal. May-haps someday (as I get on that "deadline" thingy) there may be anough for a collection of this stuff. I really do enjoy when I force myself to sit down and hammer it out.
